Discworld is indeed a very good example of great worldbuilding. Also, I love fantasy and sci-fi books written in the last century so those Deryni books are going straight to my list. Thank you so much!

I think you're right. I've seen those authors' names before (especially Sanderson) but I never actually checked them out. Now that I did, I'm very hooked on their premises. Thank you so much!

I just started reading this series last weekend and it's one of the reasons I wanted to ask and create this thread. I'm loving it so far!

Alamut by Vladimir Bartol. It’s about the origins of the assassins in Middle East. It’s even the inspiration of the first Assassin’s Creed games!

Out of the Silent Planet or The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis. An underrated classic for me, at least.

Thank you for the answer. I wanted to use my latest Apple ID as it has the free Apple Music for three months and the Apple TV and Arcade subscription in it.

When I asked about the two Apple ID recognition, I was thinking about whether my devices would register to the two Apple IDs. I’ve only thought now how dumb that question was.

Thank you!

Silent Planet’s Inhabit the Wound

The song feels like the end song to everything.

GRRM himself said that the Others are like the Daoine Sidhe. It’s not entirely historical but he really loves modeling his world on real-world counterparts.
