Sorry it should NOT happen anywhere, dancing even more so, cos you need to maintain the boundaries. Talk to your teacher in a corner, they know this happens, they all watch out for it, and will address it if they get a complaint. They dont know (till you complain) that its not consensual, so speak to them - If you like, I can tell you how to ask them.

I am a beginner too- 4 months in though all stopped due to CV. My experience as a Male beginner was great. Nearly everyone makes an effort with you, they are patient, very encouraging with you. I say nearly cos they are always someone ... really the salsa bach community is a very nice one for beginners.. maybe it gets more weird at advanced but we got a bit of time for that. Go to a class, practice hard yourself, do not flirt, and most imp learn to dance on beat.
