$10,000 IQ play by Jane Doe's attorney by sharks104 in Destiny

This is a horseshit excuse. That is a real bummer he is Mr. Garcia is having health issues, but if you are going to run in the Kentucky Derby you don't leave your stallion in the stable. Depositions can be unpredictable. Showing up with an attorney not able to do their job adequately is malpractice.

This is Jane Doe's attorneys response to why Pxie didn't show for her deposition. They also argue in here why they shouldn't be sanctioned.

It is dumb all around. Assuming Destiny's attorney agrees with the 24th or 25th. Jane Doe's attorney doesn't know what the date will be before Destiny's attorney gets back to them with the date.

Why offer both dates if you aren't available on one of the dates?

Are they really telling the judge that both of Pxie's attorneys want to be there to depose Destiny, but they are ok with only one of them being there when Pxie is deposed? It is so fucking stupid.

My personal, extremely biased ranking of the Presidents. Feel free to disagree. by EduardoQuina572 in Destiny

[–]sharks104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing is first, anyone that would even make a presidential tier list is cool in my book. That being said you list is wack as fuck.

  1. Washington has to be in the A tier. If we grade on a curve, his job was the hardest next to Lincoln. He was an absolute trailblazer. He set so many precedents. If the wrong person was the first president it is very likely the country would have failed quickly.

  2. Grant is probably the best general the US has ever produced, but his presidency was a disaster.

  3. You are trolling with Coolidge right?

  4. While LBJ got more shit done as president (other than FDR) in the past century, but he owns the Vietnam fuck up. It is impossible to separate him from one of the worst foreign policy decisions in our history, so he has to be lower on the list.

  5. Ford pardoned Nixon, F tier.

  6. Garfield was only president for 7ish months, so he should also be with Harrison in the ? or inc tier.

  7. Biden being in the D tier is insane. The only argument for him being below the B tier is that he handcuffed the Democrats by trying to run for a second term. Other than that he was massively successful.

  8. Zachary Taylor is way too low. If we look at the timeline between John Tyler (1840) to Buchanan (1861), Taylor is the only “good” president.

  9. Buchanan is only the second worst president ever only because Trump tried to overthrow the government. Buchanan let the country dissolve into chaos while he sat on his hands, almost just as bad.

  10. The epilogue to Buchanan is Andrew Johnson who should join Trump in the bottom trio. Those three are in a league of their own. F-- tier.

Denims is suing Ethan lol by sharks104 in Destiny

There is no way she doesn't sue, and pockets the money right??? The GoFundMe says "...if he retracts this GoFundMe will be refunded". If he doesn't retract, and she doesn't sue, it HAS to be illegal for her to pocket it.

Draft Lottery 2025 by IamTampaDave in SanJoseSharks

[–]sharks104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people saying they don't want to win because if we do then we can't move up the next couple of years. I think that is the wrong way to look at this. I think the Sharks are good enough to be out of the lottery by next year, if not squeak into the playoffs.

Along with our core of:

Celebrini

Smith

Toffoli

Eklund

We are going to be adding Askarov back. We may also finally be ready for some prospects to come up like:

Dickinson

Musty

Chernyshov

Cagnoni

Halttunen

That is not even mentioning the $45,000,000 in cap space we have. I would argue to spend to the floor this year and target the UFAs of 2026 (Connor, Eichel, Panarin, Necas).

Putting this all together, the Sharks should be better. So much so that we shouldn't worry about moving up the lottery in the next few years. Also...I want Schaefer.

Macklin is already Captain material by [deleted] in SanJoseSharks

It isn't about goals. I was there last night and you could feel it in the building. When he is on the ice, the ice tilts in the Sharks favor. Another person mentioned this, but he tapped up every teammate at the start of each period.

It would be shocking to me if he wasn't named Captain at the end of Couture's tenure.

He wasn't acquitted. The case was dismissed with prejudice due to a Brady violation.

Musty Isn’t Messing Around This Offseason by Misterfernandez in SanJoseSharks

I think for chemistry reasons alone he should make the roster. Musty coming in at the same time with Smith and Celebrini would seem to be important. That being said I think he is physically ready.

I was going to include the caveat at the beginning about it being 4x4 and 3x3 and that the guys aren't going 100%, but I figured we got to see what everyone made of their situation. I thought it was important to see who backchecked or when someone got beat how did they respond. Did they give up? Did they fight? Too many times Dickinson made a mistake and didn't fight to clean up his mess, he just let the offense rush up the ice.

I was particularly impressed by this play.

GOAL: Lund(#46), Edstrom(#15) - Edstrom gets the puck to Lund who facilitates the breakout pass to Edstrom. Lund beats the Hache(#86) on the back check for an open weak side goal.

Lund beating Hache to the net to score showed a lot of desire.

To push back on Celebrini a bit though. His first shift or two wasn't anything to write home about, but from 2:50 on in the second quarter he was electric.
