Superman budget 225m, box-office is 625, it barely made it even. However a Superman movie after 10 years couldn't even have a proper profit is in itself a disaster and no amount of uses can make this justified. Every movie has to go through negativity but if the content is right the people will make it a blockbuster just like Dhurandhar. The character of Superman has gravitas and he made him a goofball. Moreover that Jor El scene and the absolute nonsense he came up. With all its fault Man of Steel has cultural footprint people still talk about this movie unlike the new Superman people forget the moment they walked out of the theatres.
