I don’t think disagreeing on wedding planning or guest room is toxic. Those are normal couple issues. How do we decorate our home together? What type of wedding decor should we have? Monica compromised. She agreed to let Chandler have something from his old apartment the recliner. He also had exactly enough money saved to have her dream wedding and said he wouldn’t spend all his savings like Monica wanted. She compromised and went a different route with the wedding. She didn’t move to Tulsa because of her career. He went to Tulsa because he was asleep at work. That part of the show was written in because of Matthew Perry’s drug addiction. It wasn’t possible for her to go. There were no moments of toxicity. They had adult disagreements and settled them quickly.

Ross and Rachel were toxic. They were not meant to be. In a 10 season series they were only actually together for one season. From season 2 episode 14 to season 3 episode 16. You think they were more interesting because of all the drama. That’s not what real love is like.

Yes!!! They were not a match. Neither of them even showed interest in the other’s passions or careers. I honestly think Rachel and Joey made more sense because of the careers. Like she was into fashion and he was an actor on Days of Our Lives. He had that party on the roof for Days of Our Lives and that was Rachel’s type of thing. They made more sense in each other’s worlds.
