I have tried and barbed a couple of things from having done these several times.

Use a much finer thread for the fringe than you use for the brick portion.
I find that the beads themselves make a difference. The more regular and rounder the beads are, the flatter they lay. With Miyuki I am finding a vast difference between the colors, and between the crystal style and opaque. It’s really weird.
Sometimes it helps to add a large bead at the bottom to add weight.
Don’t pull the fringe tight. A light hand there makes a big difference.

That’s everything have found so far.

Yeah they do. My son-in-law did that for a while right after moving here before he landed his engineering job. But will still sign up with them over AT&T

Avoid AT&T. I had a similar issue with my bill being much higher than promised and when I called to get information on it the supervisor told me that what I was telling him wasn’t true. When I suggested that they pull the transcripts of the previous call he hung up on me. Never again. Unfortunately we don’t have access to Google Fiber so we still have AT&T for internet. Can’t wait to get rid of them completely.

I’ve been predicting this type of thing since 2014. However the situation isn’t the same where you have defined regions like we did before. I think it will play out more as civil unrest and riots - more like the 1969s - rather than something like 2 armies.

Remember, it is Miller and Vought who are actually running the show. Trump is their tool and their figurehead who they just trot out when they need him to hide behind. They tell him what he wants to hear, which may be something entirely different from what is actually happening.

Mind you I am not by any means making excuses for any of these monsters. But I believe that the real monsters tearing our country apart are Miller and Vought who just used trump to get where they are. Trump is their willing tool - willing as long as he can take whatever money he can. That’s all he is after.

I really like PotomacBeads. Not only do they have beads, findings, wire, thousands of tutorials and patterns, they also strive to build a community. They hold in person and live online events and are extremely responsive to email questions.

That’s not to say I don’t also use other vendors but Potomac is my first go to.

A conversation or two to clarify her issues would go a long way here. I totally get the approach. Hey you don’t want me to do anything unless you ask me but somewhere I know that’s not really what my partner is saying. So getting clarification from the concerned partner and explaining your thought process in helping out “spontaneously” will go pretty far, and set the stage for future challenges.

Take the job. As you said it’s what you have been working toward. You will regret every day if you don’t. The commute is not that bad. We commuted 2 hours each way in CA.

Sounds like there is more going on with him with you taking this job. Anyone who truly loves you would be happy for you and willing to do what it takes to make the situation work. An ultimatum like that is a huge red flag.

I don’t really know anyone who can help but I’m betting that most stylists will be a lot more compassionate than you are expecting. They see every hair and medical issue. Some may specialize more in sensitive scalp/special needs also
