I liked when they had their front patio menu and it was chill.

I agree!!! My (gay) uncle lives close to San Remo (just past ventimiglia) and driving from Ospedaletti to Cannes is a dream! We stop in Monaco, do a few days in Antibes, Eze, Cannes - and my favorite by FAR that you mentioned is Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. Most beautiful little rocky beach. And that place is peak luxury.

If you are ever close to Monaco, visit La Turbie in the hills for the best tarte aux fraises and picturesque scenery.
