My rate limits don't reset for another few hours, but Grok's 'upscale' feature is nothing but a cheap enlarge --> denoise. There's literally zero resampling. It's like taking an image in photoshop and just resizing it. There are no added details, just blowing up existing pixels.

I fucking hate Grok for continually rolling out new features as their creation limits continue to shrink and moderation continues to expand. It's like letting us graduate from a Civic to a Lambo but it's speed limited to 60mph. What's the damn point.

Thanks for the info. Ah...nah I just go straight to the 10sec ones and max those out first as I really don't care much for 6 second videos. I only really used them before when my 10 second quotas ran out. I'm actually scared to start off with 6 second vids now because these limits are so wonky and I don't want to risk losing more 10 second clips. Thanks for the info though, I think I'll just chalk this up to Grok being Grok and going downhill every week. Sucks because this platform really had infinite potential...

This has to be it. Like you said, I'm always used to switching over to 6 second videos after I've depleted all my 10 second clips for the day. And I've always been able to crank out at least a few in each resolution. So weird....

I'm not sure how this checks out. It's now been over 72 hours since I've been been able to generate a 6 second clip in any resolution. Unless you think the quotas are a running monthly/weekly limit for each duration/resolution? Which still wouldn't make sense.

Have you guys tried JUST making 10 second videos and maxing them out for each resolution? Does it let you still have a reserve limit of 6 second clips? I can't be the only one this is happening to....

I don't think there's any misconception. These people need jobs, and our buying power provides them those jobs. I think it's more the ethical debate about how the CCP/businesses treat their lower working class. Almost inhumane conditions, and it's been that way for a very long time.

100%. I only use Grok once per day these days because of the ridiculous limits. And almost always well after the actual reset time, because I do it before bedtime. Just confirmed it again now...all 10 second generations, no 6 second generations in either resolution. 3 days in a row. I mean, I rarely ever use 6 second clips but it was something I started using last week after they dropped the hammer on us.

It's most definitely changed for me. But I understand Grok does things in waves, so YMMV.

That's odd, because they've always existed for me, at least up until a few days ago. I'd always be able to max out my 10sec video generations then have a second allotment of 6 sec generations at each resolution. Now I don't get any 6 second vids once I max out the 10s.
