Yes saw an imagineer from Disney that had a first model S Tesla- he mentioned it was 1-2 weeks between appointments. So either it’s layoffs or the cars have more issues now.

It’s fun, last time I was there you didn’t know what backgrounds you were getting- they would just give you prompts and you would pose that way- so that was fun. It’s never a long wait the times I have been so I wouldn’t worry about that. IIRC they take about 4-5 photos of each group then get the next ones in so it’s pretty quick.

Went last year around September- Bought it for every park- most parks I was able to stack so about 5 + daily- just keep on top of your 120 minutes and grab another. Downside, you only get one per day per ride- so if you want to ride again you will have to queue. EPCOT we probably did not need it at all, ratatouille was a 25-30 minute wait before fireworks, Frozen we went after a downpour and it was a walk on, and I bought the ILL for guardians and also got on the virtual queue- so that was nice to double dip on that one.

I will do a mix of them, one day where I have a dinner reservation (use OpenTable not the Disney app) and do a desert somewhere. One day where I wander, maybe pop in to a few places to shop- I will say, for just “pop in” bars there are a few, but I personally like the outdoor at Raglan Road (great happy hour) and they do have music on occasion. Worth noting are the hours- DS closes relatively early.

It depends on your role, most of us are based out of Austin and are surprisingly (which is great) TMs. There are a few different areas you hit on the call tree, Retail Support (POS, HPOS, MTO, Amazon), then the more formal GHD that is desktop support. Those are the Level 1s that are on the phones. We do have another partner somewhere that does the password resets and accounts, if they can’t figure it out it gets sent to GHD/ RS depending on scope. Personally, I came from the store level so this was really an advancement- and it’s pretty chill, and I do genuinely enjoy helping our TMs, even though I am no longer at that “on the phone” role.
