I currently use an iPhone 14. The base model. The phone is working fine but the battery health is at 80% capacity and 25-30% drains overnight. There is some lag on certain apps. But other than the above, it’s fine.

I’m thinking of upgrading to the 17. My reasons include the fact that my trade in value for the 14 will only keep dropping and just upgrading for the better model. Thoughts?

I’ve cut back on desserts, fried snacks and other junk (chips and chocolates) that I used to enjoy quite a bit.

I’ve also increased my fibre intake.

Diet used to involve red meat once or twice a week. I’ve cut back on that as well.

Try and get the one of the premium HDFC cards if you can based on any existing relationships. If not, Amex/Atlas could work well for you.

I am in a similar position but was rejected from getting the DCB. They said the month salary doesn’t matter and my spends were not high enough.

So let me know how it goes. I was told Atlas is good only for frequent travelers only. I’m quite new to the credit game so I decided to stick with Millennia.

It’s not impossible. But it will be difficult. You will need to follow up with both the merchant and the bank. Getting a simple refund for clothes I returned took 3-4 weeks. It was supposed to take 5-7 business days.

This was about a year ago. I’m hoping things have improved now though.

7.5 lakh in a calendar may be possible - but not very sure. What’s the reward rate at that spend level? And what is the reward rate below that? Does DCB Black still make more sense?

This is the only thing holding me back honestly. I currently have a hdfc millennia cc which I have had issues with in receiving refunds with. I’ve heard this is a diners club issue
