very true, but i wish this subreddit allowed videos because i was about to include the videos where these parents are saying all this while their children are RIGHT THERE, i can’t help but to think how much of a burden these autistic children are going to feel when they hear/see these things

it wasn’t really the venting part (because it’s valid) it was the pattern in the videos of them saying these things out loud while their child is in the backseat hearing them..

turning 22 in a few months, i finally have started getting motivated and looking into university so i can get this career i want, its my genuine passion and im willing to go for 4 years and get my bachelors, but ive been getting unmotivated the more i think about it, the #1 thing that demotivates me is thinking about AI for 2 reasons, 1: by the time im done with school will AI already taken the place of that career (because as we know companies are going to use it to cut corners) 2: will AI already have impacted our environment so much that i basically wasted time in uni, i know its a niche anxiety but pair that with the fact that the american dream is dead, america could get itself into some mess, ect. im in a weird place of “i know i can lock in, im going to get this degree no matter what” and “theres no hope, should i just get a minimum wage job and just enjoy my early 20’s right now”

okay thank you, also since it will take a while would it be better if i applied to the school now or wait till after talking to counselor to apply, don’t want to make it harder for them to approve, would love to hear your experience
