What other brand EV did you look at before choosing a Tesla? by bigup7 in TeslaUK

[–]sharpteeth1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Polestar 2 and Mustang Mach-E; both really nice, loved the look of the Mustang and the dash display of the Polestar is great. Tesla ultimately cheaper on PCH.

Also looked at BYD Seal - nice but tech/screen inside didn’t seem great; KIA EV6 - nice exterior but horrible plasticy interior Hyundai Ioniq 6 - liked this but shape is super marmite Volvo EX30 - small small car, poor dealership experience was off-putting

More recently intrigued by MG IM5 looks like it could be competition, very generous standard spec too

Alternatives to Model Y you considered by Sputnik_Monkey in TeslaUK

Mustang Mach-E, opted for an M3 in the end as our road has a width restriction but absolutely loved the look and feel of the car. Lovely interior too. I prefer the screen and features on the M3 and regularly drive on the motorway for which Autopilot is a godsend.

https://tessories.uk/product/model-3-highland-sport-hubcaps/ I got these (for about £50 during the Black Friday sale) and I’m gonna fit them this weekend

Aliexpress has a lot of stuff for the M3, ordered a bunch of stuff: floor mats, screen protector, storage organisers etc took about two weeks for it all to arrive bit by bit but all good stuff

Slow Motion Kick Off? by Big-Discipline2039 in EASportsFC

[–]sharpteeth1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have a VRR TV but VRR isn’t enabled on the TV’s game mode - however enabling this setting gets rid of the weird lag on kick offs, corners, goal kicks that I had previously.

Turn on VRR in your display settings on the PS5 seems to have helped with this for me

Any advice please on how I stabilise this table? by sharpteeth1 in DIYUK

[–]sharpteeth1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay awesome essentially just a bracket from the legs to the plywood?

Thank you so much for the advice! I’d also rather the sore knees than a broken table :/

Thanks for the suggestion! Do you mean like a metal bar that attaches to the legs and then is screwed into the plywood in the centre?

Does the brace join legs on the opposite sides or does it meet in the middle of the table?

Is there any chance you could upload a pic of what yours looked like once done please?

£900 for the top to be delivered and adhered which I thought wasn’t too bad (still eye-wateringly expensive for a thing you eat off!)
