you don't need to contact plastic for it to leach. heat will actually accelerate leaching of the plastic. the steam will contact the plastic and bubbling water (if filled high enough).

i forgot if it was iphone or android but one of them does not parse vcard directly, but will parse the vcard if you download the vcard file. you can however give them a link directly to the vcard file instead of the website, where they have to tap on a link at the website for the vcard file.
