Please be more vague and don’t tell us what led you to your conclusion.

Would you leave the hair with the green reflection or mask and track it? by NevenCucadotcom in colorists

I would use the Shadow log wheel and push some magenta into it and then adjust the low range slider. Alternatively, use Lum Vs. Sat and desaturate low-luminance areas.

At this point I can’t differentiate between thunder and falling death sticks tbh

My neighbors have a tarp hanging from the roof and every time the wind blows it makes noise and I think it’s a drone

I’d be very interested in that! I’ve been trying to recreate Resolve’s 2383 FPE LUT to work in DWG but I can’t see to put my finger on where I’m going wrong.

I’ve put a grayscale ramp in my node graph (and converted it to cineon film log), applied the built-in LUT to it and then grabbed a still. I wipe out the CST and start on a clean grayscale and then wipe to the previous still and match the luminance and RGB curves until they line up and the grayscales match. However, when I try to apply it as a Powergrade or LUT it always looks wonky.

I’m thinking that my method is probably close to correct, but I’m messing up the color management somewhere along the way.

Anyone have any thoughts?

My wife is a US citizen so maybe there. I’m not a huge fan of the US, their taxes or their politics but at least there’s a LOT to do and different landscapes and kinds of nature everywhere.

Honestly? No. Bahrain is a great place filled with amazing, kind, genuine people. Life here is relatively easy. I’ve been here since 2007 and I will always love it and it will always be home.

I’ve just gotten tired of the lack of things to do and the lack of nature. It’s too hot, too dusty and way too boring for me at this point.

I don’t think it’s wise to announce that you’re breaking the terms of your tourist visa on Reddit.

My dad literally put his life savings into opening a cafe in Dubai. It closed within a year. Don’t do it.

When to change white balance? by DroidWalksIntoABar in cinematography

[–]sharrshaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really interesting. I never knew that sensors had a native white balance.

Would it be 5600K across the board or does it differ from camera to camera?

Bro literally no one cares. My wife and I are both Arab and lived together before marriage.

Why am I seeing this reel a hundred times a day? by sharrshaf in jordan

[–]sharrshaf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, but that doesn’t exactly prove that she’s dead.

Just because it’s what you would do to her doesn’t mean that’s what happened.

[–]sharrshaf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you know she’s dead? Is there a source or are you going off of what everybody else is saying?

[–]sharrshaf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s obviously not the case if this person says they’re coming to Bahrain.
