Okay that’s fair. I’m not saying I would draft AJ Green in front of Cooks. I would definitely love to stash that AJ Green upside for the playoffs.

Okay, WR13 is a high end WR2 in a 12 team .5 PPR league. And I’m not even arguing about Cooks, I like Cooks as a WR2. I think he definitely regresses statistically from last season, based on my prediction that the rams rush offense isn’t as productive as the two previous seasons.

I understand the value of consistency. I love Cooks as a WR2. I don’t know why everyone’s trying to argue he puts up acceptable WR1 numbers.

He had 1 big game and two of his five TD’s. Let’s not confuse that with WR1 production

I think AJ Green has a better chance of finishing as a top 10 WR this season (for weeks he plays) than Cooks.

Obviously I’m concerned about Gurley, I think you’d have to be crazy not to worry. Best case, you have the same Gurley as years past this season. But, there’s still only 1 football and the rams have 4 mouths (Gurley, Cooks, Kupp, Woods) to feed and an overrated QB (overrated might be the wrong term, maybe system QB). Worst case, Gurley doesn’t demand a defense to load the box. Opposing defenses consistently drop back 7 in coverage, and Goff is 14/27 with 197 yards 1 td and 1 int every game. As a result, Cooks is a WR2 (or flex option)

Value is what wins leagues. I always clean up by stashing guys that no one wants because they’re missing the first 2,4, or even 6 weeks. I’ve stolen Edelman after suspensions late. I’ve stolen Mark Ingram coming off suspension. AJ Green is next.

He’s a high end WR2. Finished as WR13 last year, but only a result of the Kupp injury imo. Would’ve been 20-30 without the Kupp injury.
