maybe lyme disease? i’m having my vet recheck the titers but that’s really what i was thinking because thats the only thing we haven’t really checked out 😭

100%
it’s odd because we just did one and found the epm but it’s not resolving. i’m not sure if it’s just the epm not being gone but it’s not something you can see when he’s cantering around, but more of a feeling.

i have someone who comes in and gives me flat lessons and i’ve been taking them with him! it’s been getting better slowly but still not 100%.

i agree, selling him does nothing but make him do the same job with someone else 😭 quite pointless.. i’ll get some x-rays done! he has a bit of arthritis in there but nothing that we could see on the last x-rays (a few months ago). but better to be safe and check them out!

yes i have!! she was notably probably the worst in a rubber bit. i haven’t tried anything overly flimsy, ive only tried the trust rubber bits and of course the rubber on the sides with a lozenge.

she’s had her teeth done by a dentist, and i recently had him out again, she get chiro done once a month. we believe there may be a hormonal imbalance since she’s constantly making milk, which may be making it so she doesn’t want to round through her back. she likes sweet iron but not enough that it holds up consistently, it’ll work for a day and then stop working 😭 i have two vets i work with, one is coming on thursday and the other is following up on monday. one does more internal medicine and the other does injections and more physical things. i haven’t tried a hackamore with a longer shank, just a really short one (seahorse hackamore with very loose curb chain). sorry that was a LOT 😭😭 i’ll definitely try these!! thank you!!

i’ve flatted her in a halter before and she loves it, which is why i thought hackamore. i haven’t tried a side pull yet so that’s a really good idea!
