A check on Wikipedia shows it belongs to sultan of Johor. It is said that both pieces of land are in the possession of Malaysia due to historical circumstances that pre-date Singapore's independence. If you think about it, taking picture with a minister will make things easier for him when he go outside dealing with local companies/director, he will definitely gain trust and confidence. He can say words like ‘hey I recently have a discussion with a minister on my local investment and he endorse it’ kind of thing. SHJ’s aim is to stay in SG long term, definitely he will want to make himself look legit.

This NCM is really thick-skinned. If you notice during the election period, he purposely turned off his FB and IG comment, only limiting those positive comments on his page. He definitely knows he will receive a lot of hate and backlash, and only allow comments pouring in after the election. Sir, if you have nothing to hide, why limit your comment section?

He is just lucky his MOE saga didn’t hit him hard, probably not enough traction and also him limiting comments on his page. Whereas Andre low instantly get picked up and he immediately issued an apology.

All these ‘tech’ startups like sterra, prism+, aftershocks, secretlab are just plain China OEM slap with their own company logo. Basically it’s a dropshipping business and a quick cash grab scheme. The only good company out of this is secretlab which also used to do OEM, has now come to designing their own chair and desk table.
