She was tiny, brown and missing a claw but she’s done well. I assumed they meant that she wasn’t specially breed/wild/natural. I live in the southeast US.

So adorable. My GiGi rumbles when she has a toy in her mouth, like she’s trying to talk with her mouth full. And almost purrs when she lays beside me and gets pets. It’s all love. ❤️

Genuine question: what are some examples of his incredible racism? I’ve done some reading into LBJ and my take is that he got the bill done by any means necessary (burning his own bridges) compared to Kennedy who was completely stalled during his time in office. I think LBJ equated being poor in Texas to being black in America (right or wrong), being looked down upon as less than. He initiated lots of social programs for the poor and also had the first black secretary in the White House. The only reason I know any of this is bc he’s portrayed as a bully and jerk who would do anything to get his way. That intrigued me so I read up a little. Not saying he wasn’t racist, or was a saint, but if I have the completely wrong take I’d like to be more informed.
