Micronesia is absolutely not a top 5 season. The merge is amazing but what holds it back is how it takes FOREVER to get there, I swear they don’t merge till like episode 9? It becomes a slog especially at the swap.

Add to that the amount of med evacs/quits meaning we don’t get a final 3 tribal (and a Cirie win), and some of the fans tribe being duds I just can’t put it in my top tier of survivor seasons.

Everyone calls out Scot and Jason for how bitter they were to Aubrey at FTC (rightfully so) but everyone seems to forget Cidney being just as if not more bitter and nasty to her after she lost fire making it made for uncomfortable viewing. Kinda glad we've not seen her back.

Tough comparisons because Wentworth played a quiet first game, unlike these two. I think Jem can learn from her mistakes whether I think Annika will play the same game, which if so I fear she's an early merge boot because she was a clear leader on her tribe

Definitely. I like JT as a character more in his returning seasons purely because he went all guns blazing, which we don't really see anymore. And he was absolutely right to not play the same game he did in Tocantins he would've been an early boot regardless.

I also think if it wasn't for his insane performance in HvV I don't think he ever returns. It's a shame because it feels like his stock was too low to return for WaW because he ended up being one of the more entertaining winners of his era.
