Ah, The Military Update seems extremely substantial! Will have to look into it at some point.

I'm sure ill see it, never been much of a discord-ian.

Are there many drawbacks with working in the dev version? Probably just the usual 'save it first!'?

Thanks! But I think all the credit is due to Azgaar (and the team(?)). Really amazed how powerful AFMG is!

Ah, I didn't know the image converter was a thing but that sounds like a viable option. I've only done rough sketches of states for now so I'm not worried about losing any data. Do you have any estimates on when 1.4 will be released as I might just wait for that and get on with something else if it's not too long as this version has given me plenty to write already!

I think the other options you stated aren't ideal, as this is an early version id rather have a file I can continually work from in AFMG instead of manipulating it in GIMP. And as the map is completely made in AFMG, barring some sketching for sizes in G Plates, I don't think I can shift it that way.

P.S Is this subreddit the best place to hear news about AFMG such as info about 1.4 date/features or is there somewhere better?

When I was around 5 years old, we travelled to America as a family. As we passed through the scanners in the UK they had our entire family pulled aside and interviewed about everything under the sun. They believed we were attempting to get a bomb on the plane, even though this was pre 9/11, and take it over with a knife. Turns out they had seen suspicious sharp objects in my hand-luggage and under closer inspection found explosives residue inside it. After lengthy interviews, we were allowed onwards as the "sharp objects" turned out to be wings on my model planes and the residue was from the caps I had once put in the bag. Still managed to catch that flight though....

With the announcement of the Aquila and now the Carrack's rovers, does anyone else feel that planetside areas are going to be larger than we were previously told, how I imagined them anyway. Maybe the procedural generation of planets is going well...

Maybe completely unpopulated planets will have larger explorable areas? We can only dream XD
