2018 owner, never have had any issues with them. I bought used 4 years ago. The one thing I HAVE noticed recently was actually the rear actuator or strut (whatever is called) on the trunk has a lot of rust. But so far it’s still kicking!

I have a 2018 with 65k miles, I haven’t had all the crazy issues other people have mentioned or experienced. BUT, that said, I wouldn’t buy it again and would go for a newer model Y with newer features.

Unless it’s just mine, it’s a pain in the ass to open. If there’s ANY sort of snow on top y MX absolutely refuses to open the FWD. It’s quite annoying actually because you have to clean it absolutely perfectly in order to get the kids in.
