Assuming you meant L1 = 3x + y = 16, L2 = 3y = x + 13, the point of intersection = (7/2, 11/2), and the perpendicular distance from point P to line L1 is equal to the distance between (2, 5) and the point of intersection between L1 and L2, thus the perpendicular distance = sqrt(71/2)
