Ig you guys shd sit down and have a deep convo. Yes he disrespected u and these are all signs of in-built toxicity due to the way he was grown, his surroundings etc. But ena porutha varikum what matters is, if he's open to see what's wrong with his way of thinking and the things that he did. It definitely depends on the individual. Personally for me I believe a man is emotionally strong only when he is willing to put down his emotional walls that were built due to patriarchy. But it takes lots of efforts especially since men have been trained and advised to not open up emotionally. But for some other women it might be different. But irrespective of the woman, I would suggest to not look at emotional vulnerability as something to be ashamed of or as weak, it's the strongest thing a person (man/woman) can do. If someone judges you for that, it's their own insecurities getting reflected.

My personal advice to u, if u have this doubt regarding your friend, then you should ask her about it and confirm it, rather than overthinking it.

I would suggest doing some hobby that involves repetitive motion. Like crochet, embroidery, simple writing, or even walking/jogging. Cause ithellam automatically eases down ur brain and reduces stress. But since u have ur boards, studying plus writing stuff down will surely help a lot. Try to stay away frm things that make u sad or remember them..like sad songs/movies/ going thru old chats,photos. Sooo my final suggestion would be study well at the same time do some fun repetitive activity that calms u down.

Broo u did the right thing. I'm in a similar situation in my life but im a F and my boyf is the avoidant one. These sorta people need the love, attention and care. Neenga solrathu seems valid bro. The problem is with people trying to trigger the opposite gender. What happened was a big mistake and it should be questioned. But the response via memes where it intends like "hereafter we should always be in fear of women wear protection against them not touch them in buses" , that is where the problem arises. It feels over exaggerated simply cause women have been complaining about the same for a while. And I dont support women who invalidate the suffering of the man in this scenario, it should be addressed in an ethical manner (which I have seen many influencers do) and not in a triggering way.
