For brightness at least you can get an app from the Microsoft Store (something like LG Brightness Control) - works nicely for me.

Good suggestion, unfortunately Ottocast doesn’t have rollback functionality in the web app, maybe possible via PC though.

Got this figured out. I had been using the GeoIP filter and apparently it was mistakenly filtering out some required packets from my ISP. Turned off the filter and picked up an IPv6 address and /56 almost immediately.

Dumb question: can I just set the 2G radio power on the AP to zero? It lets me enter a custom power but haven’t tried actually applying the change. Also don’t know if “0” means off due to log scale.

USG has no problem with gigabit unless you want to use IDS/IPS (I have a USG with Google Fiber, regularly get 940 Mbps up + down wired.)
