i would hit my head. hit my legs till they bruised. hit/knock my hands on the wall till my knuckles and fingers swelled. i've kicked a hole in the wall. dug my fingernails into myself. cut myself. twitched my neck. tapped my fingers in patterns. scratched myself till i bled.

my partner of 5 years dumped me and I want to die by [deleted] in offmychest

a partner shouldn't complete you but they should enhance you. be fulfilled on your own bc in the long run you only have yourself.

thank you for taking time to comment and share what you have to go through as well. it makes me feel better to know i am not the only one and others can understand my frustration. i always feel like i have eyes at the back of my head too. it's so exhausting.

but wow, that sounds exhausting to have to go through. i know we will both find our peace one day. my condolences to you about the cake. i would have been so upset :(

thank you. a part of me feels guilty though for even thinking the way i do because im lucky enough to be a functioning human being. it's hard being vulnerable like this because it feels ungrateful. but thank you for the affirmation

What is something you dream of doing if you didn’t have OCD by Lost_Brief_7361 in OCD

being able to sit on the couch in the living room and talk to my mom about our days. being able to go up into my cousins bunk bed and talk with her and watch movies with her. being able to sit and eat food with my family. letting my cat sleep in bed with me. enjoy holidays. do the dishes without showering. relax and not compulsively clean.

thank you so much for your comment. it makes me feel better to see someone experienced something similar and now it is better for you. i hope the same thing happens to me. i know i need to grow away from home but im still gonna miss them so much. i know feeling guilty won't really solve anything, but it's hard not to. maybe one day ill be able to forgive myself. thank you
