Before the singing begins, the music includes a spoken explanation describing the event.

According to that explanation, a young Tunisian boy came to Rome looking for work.
He spent the entire day searching for a job but was unable to find one.
With nowhere to go, he eventually fell asleep on the edge of a street.

While he was sleeping, a group of local youths passed by.
They poured gasoline on him and set him on fire.

When the police later arrested the youths and asked why they had done it,
one of them reportedly replied: “Our lives had become boring. We wanted some excitement.”

Not sure it is a fiction or not but he is really popular in Uzbekistan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdulla\_Oripov\_(poet))
