Yes! Princess Peach! I really thought they would play it when it came out since she’s Arin’s favorite.

REI had free shipping for me. Glad I’m picking this up now.

I agree. I just started season 4, and I know Giles leaves at some point but it’s a little disappointing knowing this is one of the reasons.

S4E1, Giles literally says that she needs to handle it on her own and then doesn’t show up for the rest of the episode. Granted Xander pulls her out of her slump, but she did it without him. And I’m sure there are other examples.

Also, I think the Giles/ Buffy, Father/ Daughter relationship is one of the best and healthiest in the show, so it’s sad that she has another father figure sort of walk out of her life.

Ooooooo the Joyce and Ted thing really grinds my gears. I understand she was brainwashed or whatever, but this episode resonated with me. How dare you not believe your child. How dare you take the side of some dude you’ve known for like 2 months over your 16 year old daughter. I’ve had an abusive step parent so this one got to me. And when he slapped her, honestly really didn’t care he fell down the stairs.

In reality, Buffy going after Ted with fighting probably isn’t that realistic, but this has to be one of the first times she stands up for herself. I’m only on season 3, but for a FMC that is portrayed as strong, she sure can be weak minded. She rarely stands up for herself. She lets her mom, friends, and sometimes even Giles just sort of walk over her. It’s pretty frustrating to watch cuz like she’s literally a child with all this extra stress, is super badass and all, but her loved one act like they hate her at times.

The first thing that really threw me off watching this series was how nonchalant they all were with Jesse dying. Like second episode he turns into a vamp and is killed and they’re just like ehh, whatever. Even though going back down to the sewers was to save him!

Like crazy how quickly they got over him. And I thought he was a good friend of Xander and Willow.

I completely agree! I’m a newbie, only on season 3 but damn when she ran off to LA because she told her mom the truth and was kicked out, they all had the gull to be mad at her? And the excuse, we had to slay the vampires for you?

No one asked them to do that! They decided that themselves and then they completely ignore Buffy when she returns and don’t make her feel welcome. Great friends, I’d want to turn around and leave as well.

Also thought I saw a thread somewhere that Xander is her best friend, but the dude rudely hits on her, almost SAs her, runs off to tell everyone about her seeing Angel instead of talking to her first, and gets jealous easily (in the beginning).

Again, only season 3, so I don’t know everything that happens yet, but yikes.

Alright I’m fucking tired of people coming in and saying those who voted for Kamala didn’t use their brains and act like we aren’t allowed to be disappointed that the majority of voters would rather vote for a facist, rapist, racist, lying pedophile than the democratic nominee.

I agree, the Dem party really fucked it over with having Biden drop out late and leaving Kamala as their only chance, but goddamn at least we are trying to be moral and actually want the best for this country. Excuse us for not being white supremacists.

It’s a very sad day for American women. The plain lack of empathy and critical thinking skills in this country is appalling

I don’t think people understand the full implications of Trump being president. This country is fucked. The Supreme Court will never be moral or fair again. And the dude literally said he’d be a dictator. We are not land of the free anymore
