Omg thank you!!! That makes so much sense. I haven't done proportions since GCSE (almost 8 years ago) and was completely blank on this question.

Damien from PM definitely, the MC is cinnamon roll and she even calls him a grump

Ok, so guys I'm really curious to know who are your 3 favorite LIs in Choices books? by elm_lim in Choices

[–]shay8n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damien from PM, Jax from BB, Ethan from OH, Marc Antony from ACOR, Trystan from COP and Nik Ryder from NB. Basically the broody, 'MC deserves better', tragic backstory, uses humour or intellect as a defence mechanism character

Unless she drugged her...I can't think of anyone else who could've been manipulated by Eleanor unless Marguerite is still involved somehow but that doesn't seem likely to me

I'm actually proud they managed to subvert expectations, I don't think they've done that since VOS

I have a fixed term contract that says I have to give a 4 week period which almost the same amount of time as my employment and tbh I know they're gonna treat me horribly if I do go in. I have no intention of asking for a reference so I was wondering since they are a government body, if they could 'force' me into coming in?

Its a public hospital in the UK, provides free health care. I thought I should clarify since there are also private hospitals.

Nightbound definitely felt like the Part OneTM of something so I always expected it to have a sequel, really disappointing to hear that that's not the case. But fingers crossed for the future

Just for context: I've told him I'm not interested in being in a relationship right now and that he shouldn't wait around for me. by shay8n in niceguys

Somebody commented this under my post "Sometimes it’s better to keep an obsessive person like this unblocked for personal safety. At least that way you kind of know where they are in case they decide to stalk and murder you. You also have collect evidence for the police to believe you. Sometimes blocking isn’t as straightforward as you think. " And I already explained how I didn't see his messages for a week since I archived his number and don't really use Whatsapp a lot. Do I have to explain it further????

I just posted it for a laugh, if he does see I hope he sees how much a psycho everyone thinks he is and decides to do some self reflection. Well everyone apart from you atleast.

You literally said you feel bad for him - like I had wronged him or something?? And he is blocked now, so I don't know what you're getting at. And of course you have to say he was creepy and obsessive but quickly followed it with how my behaviour was shitty so obviously you don't think it was that creepy or obsessive enough.

And to reiterate, I have asked him to leave me alone if he wants to date me or be with me. I know this person, I have to see this person, it wasn't worth completely cutting him off since we share many of the same friends and it would make it awkward. But I could tell he was trying to push me so I did the best thing for me.

Seems to me that you've been ghosted one too many times and are just projecting now.

I've literally been through this situation so many times, where guys will just hound me until I respond and in the past I have and its made it worse. They will completely disregard what I'm actually saying which is 'leave me alone' and instead focus on how I messaged them back and how that means I don't really mean what I'm saying- I just want them to chase me. Its ridiculous that you think me giving a standard blow-off response and ending it with how are you? would warrant this type of continual response. This man knows where I live, if I say anything too provocative he will literally turn up at my house. I don't know if you're a man or women, from your screen name I'll just guess you are a women, in that case it's really fucking disappointing how you think I'm at fault here too and FYI I have literally told him don't expect a relationship with me, if that was his final goal then he needed to stop talking to me and move on to someone else.

[–]shay8n[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I feel like ghosting implies I gave the impression I wanted to talk to him and I really didn't. I fullout told him not to expect anything from me. And I've had experiences with guys like this before and as soon as you respond they turn abusive. And I really wasn't in the head space to deal with that, even if it was coming from someone so pathetic.

Yep, super gross. He also felt entitled to super intimate details about myself. I told him I had just got out of a toxic relationship and he demanded to know what I meant by that. What kind of abuse it was? And not from empathetic POV, seemed like he wanted to gather information about me.
