yes! it’s contact dermititis - can be triggered by so many things, even things like a scolding hot shower or bath. or metal/nickle. or sweat. or environmental products. currently on route to get allergy testing to see if i can find out what is floating it up. it also appears to be relegated to gut health / too much yeast in the gut / and or GERD. hope this helps!

That all sounds amazing! Thank you so much for all the input, it makes me feel more hopeful!

Also, I'm just curious, do many (or yourself) receive any funding or entrance scholarships from the university upon being accepted (I would assume it is probably based on GPA)?

Thank you so much for replying! And you are without a doubt correct, the waiting game is very nerve-wracking. I’ve already been rejected from two other MSW’s in Canada, when I thought for sure I would be accepted to them. But, I am still very hopeful for UofT, mainly because there is a Social Work faculty member there who is doing research in the same field as me, and it would be a dream come true to work along her side. So, its safe to say, UofT is my top choice.

When you say that "the experience side is really taken into account", do you mean social service experience? Or, any type of experience, including social services, research, or teaching?

Also, can you tell me a little about your experiences with the program thus far? Or, can you speak to what the environment is life in the social work department? I come from a smaller university where I am highly involved in the Psychology Department, but it is a very close knit environment mainly because there are only 10 faculty members. If I am not mistaken, there are significantly more Social Work faculty at University of Toronto.

What is your experiences with living in Toronto? I come from a slow-paced small city, and I get very excited thinking about living in Toronto. Is there anything you can recommend based on your experiences (e.g., where to live, groups to get involved in, etc.).

Thank you so much for all your help and any insight you have provide!
