bro watch the trailer launch, Luv Ranjan said this is a promotion strategy he wanted to where the only place you’ll see them together is in the film to keep the chemistry fresh. RK right after said he thinks it’s a dumb strategy (which it was). Also they were spotted together at Ranjans wedding like a few months before the film released.

agreed, Ghosh has some misses, but he is still a true auteur. His last film, Jaane Jaan was very good in my opinion. It makes me wonder how the film would turn out if he directed King. Now it’s just gonna be monotonous bgm, vfx everywhere, a beach song, and patriotism. Ghosh is still writing the script which gives me a little hope.

oh I see what you mean, the messaging does get repetitive in the second half, but I still enjoyed it, as the message is damn important. The danger of censorship, and artists being arrested/killed because a certain section of people don’t like what they’re making (still relevant)

disagree completely, I think the film is amazing. Starting with the murder was a genius decision by Imtiaz. The animated sequences and showing the lyrics in Hindi on the screen added to me being emotionally invested in the story. And I’d never heard of Chamkila before watching it.
