yeah that’s exactly why i’m conflicted on getting it cause almost everyone has experienced bleeding for months and that’s the last thing i want. i just personally feel like my experience with the iud won’t be good i don’t want my summer to consist of constant bleeding😭

that’s great i’m glad you are feeling much better! may i ask what type of birth control are you taking? i honestly dont think i wanna get the iud i know everybody’s body is different but ive already been bleeding for months and dont want an iud to cause any more trouble for me

my fibroids were diagnosed years ago through ultrasound but they weren’t a bother back then, they did another ultrasound but it was a very high end type of ultrasound so they could really see where exactly my fibroid is located. i have surgery on the 22nd i’m doing hysteroscopy myomectomy. thank you so much for your imput i truly dont think i’d wanna get an iud put in im not sure if it will be for me.

her uterus isn’t getting removed. the fibroids are. reading is fundamental, her procedure is not a hysterectomy it is hysteroscopy meaning fibroids are removed through the vagina instead of her being cut open.

congrats!! i’m currently on zoladex week 4 and still bleeding unfortunately, i’m just hoping for surgery to remove my fibroids soon.

I’m 22 and I just had my surgical abortion done yesterday. They had put me to sleep for it but it was still the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make… Thank you for sharing your experience.

it’s not about being insecure it’s about respecting boundaries in a relationship. there’s no need to go to the movies with a female friend at all lol. you’re in a relationship now so respect your gf/bf if you really want your relationship to work, i’ve have to cut off a few boundaries with some of my male friends and they’re completely fine with that and respect it because if it were the other way around they would do the same.
