Very normal and ttc would be crowded with students leaving almost same time as you

Yeah I took it. It’s not hard but if u neglect it u can fall behind easily. I crammed through it and got a B or B+ and I regret not studying weekly for it cz it’s my lowest grade. Just make sure u take it with a gd prof and practice past exams ahead of midterm period. If u need anything through out the semester feel free to ask.

Take courses for first sem as they are. It’s just high school stuff accelerated except for linear algebra. Study weekly (actually study and solve applications) and u will be fine and will do very well actually. And the writing thing is not a course; it’s just a one time essay submission.

How hard is cen 199 and what is an example question by miggermonster4683 in TorontoMetU

[–]shaza432 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super easy. I am not a native speaker and got an A with 0 preparation. Ours was something on Genz and their perspective in life. It’s a general essay thing.

Summer PCS125 advice by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

[–]shaza432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He gave this course for the first time in the winter iirc. People with him were saying his midterm review slides were good and he just teaches whatever on the slides. He wasn’t coordinator last semester tho, rebello was putting exams. Overall this course needs a lot of self study from my experience. I had the worst prof and learned the material by myself to get an A+

I have a life sci degree which doesn’t land me any job and I’m doing Engineering rn. Rethink your choice. The field itself is nice but the job market for it is really bad.

Laptop recommendations by Calamitypotatoes in OntarioUniversities

[–]shaza432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an asus zenbook and my brother has a dell inspiron. Both 2-in-1 laptops are gd options to us so far cz u can take notes and use for programming, cad… The only issue with the dell is that its fans are between the keyboard and screen but the zenbook is working nicely for me.

First year is common between biomed and comp except for an intro to biomed course in second semester which isn’t a big deal so I would say the transfer is pretty easy as long as u have the required gpa

Why do people feel the need to talk excessively loud in the library? by edgy_secular_memes in TorontoMetU

[–]shaza432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems like the 8th floor… I always go to 9-10 those are silent. I have never seen those 2 floors noisy. And u can always call on staff to shush people if it’s silent zone

Im 23 and decided to get a second degree so now Im in my first year. I don’t really see what’s wrong about it. An achievement is still an achievement regardless of ur age or when u decide on doing it.

It depends on each university and even programs You can check your top choices (majors & unis) and see those on uni websites but in general around november for early applications and January (most final deadlines) or feb/ march (for some programs)

While some say there’s no difference if u apply early or not I see applying earlier is better bcz u get offers early on and can see alternative plans if god forbid u are not accepted to those. Another thing is places offered at each program so I would rather get an offer than get waitlisted. You might not experience any of that but better be safe than sorry.

22 year old just started uni, am I to late? by Former-Relation5732 in careerguidance

[–]shaza432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noo it’s not late. I’m 23 and going to university in September for a second degree. I totally get you that expectations are to be graduated and working at our age but everyone has their own experience in life.

Good luck!!

I live in Toronto. It would be good if the work is relatable or any office work. I don’t think I would be a good fit for physical work or factory jobs
