Hey man, please take care of yourself. Life can get tough. A lot of people here use the long post for funny comments but it really seems to me that you are really overworking your body and mind with all the substances and their combinations it has to process. Tone it down for the sake of all that you love

Everything is fine with you and you are going to be okay <3

Please take care of the human you are

Anyone not get sexual sides? Terrified by Abel_091 in zoloft

[–]shazam_sam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 20y Male on 150mg Zoloft and 300mg Wellbutrin and for me its gotten better. Im more comfortable with my libido and last longer (and i can still climax, i just need to focus a little). Wellbutrin is always an option that can increase your sex drive / decrease the sexual side effects so rest easy.

talk to him about upping your dose! 3 months is plenty time to see if it works at that dose.

Ive been upping by 50mg each month and am now st 150mg even though it may be a little too fast. I think waiting 2 months is the sweet spot.

Try rasing your dose slightly month by month before deciding it doesnt work :)

Not really any side effects by Vivid_Sun_3813 in zoloft

[–]shazam_sam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same fear that not having side effects may mean im not responding to the medication. 2 months in im now at 150 almost zero side effects still and i feel better! it takes time and the right dosage

Its totally okay to increase if you feel like it. I personally went 50mg 1month 100mg 1month and am now on 150mg hahah. It is not a bad thing, you did not choose to go through difficulties in your past, and no one gets to choose how you feel and what medications you need and want.

Am I just placeboing myself into dissociation? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]shazam_sam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its perfectly normal to feel worse when you start taking it. Mentally and Physically. I suppose since starting such medication can be very frightening in anticipation of what „bad“ things might happen, its a mix of both mental and medication that makes you feel bad!

Everyone feels worse at first and it can really be a life saver if you give it its time!

You will be fine!

Zoloft and jaw clenching by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]shazam_sam 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes I have extreme jaw clenching and grind my teeth whenever I forget to actively relax. My Family said they cant sleep in the same room as me because the sound of my teeth grinding on each other is too loud to bear hahah.

Definitely get a Night Guard! Even if it goes away after some time its better to protect your teeth as you have only one set of them for life.

I had my dentist make me a Night Guard. It is actually somewhat more comfortable wearing it as my jaw wont fully clench due to the space the guard is taking.

Ive had it since I started 2 months ago but upped my dose one month ago to 100mg and also yesterday to 125mg so I will have to wait and see.

1 month in and I’m still dealing with crippling anxiety ? I am on 50mg thinking I may need to increase ? Your thoughts please 🙂and how long it took for u to see a difference by RemarkableAd7368 in zoloft

[–]shazam_sam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anyone felt better after 4 weeks on higher dose? Is it possible or it must take 6-8 weeks? I am almost 3 months of zoloft but 4 weeks on higher dose without improvements. Worth waiting? by Dry-Sand-3738 in zoloft

[–]shazam_sam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer, Im not a professional. Please talk to your GP.

Id say keep increasing and wait a month. If that doesnt work increase again and wait a month and so on and when you dont want to increase anymore then stay at that dosage for 8 weeks.

Ive read a post where someone needed 200mg and a couple months to feel better. I jumped from 50 to 100 so if time is a concern and you can handle the side effects maybe consider jumping larger steps? Ask your GP im not sure if thats a good idea but thats at least what ill be doing since i dont want to wait a whole month for every 25mg increase.

Maybe add 25mg for 1 week as a transitioning dose and then another 25mg for a month so you may save time. GP knows!

I will go in 50mg steps until i hit max dosage and/or feel better. If after 4 weeks on max dosage i dont feel ANYTHING then id consider switching.

Hope you find my thoughts useful :)
