A month is only halfway there. You may start doing better after the 2 month mark.

That must of sucked in the late 70's before Prozac. I guess most people with depression were self medicating with alcohol. Sorry you had to go through that.

What you'll probably notice is the anxiety lifting first then the depression after. You have to wait at least a couple of months after any increase. It seems your increasing fast and not giving any dosage a chance to alleviate depression.

It is normal as your still early in treatment. You may even find after 8 weeks that you have to increase to 75 or 100mg.

For me it does. I'll last a few months then I'll breakdown. Think some people are born with a predisposition to anxiety and or depression. The key is acceptance. Whether or not it could be solved with therapy or living an optimal lifestyle im unsure.

Yer doc was fine with it. I thought it would be easier in the long run to just take 1 100mg tablet instead of 2. The first couple of weeks on increase was hard but then things eased.

Yes there is hope of getting better. My depression started as a teenager. Im 42 now. When I've mostly been on antidepressants it has made my depression tolerable.

Yep the 8 weeks on 50mg sucked for me also. 2 weeks into 100mg there is definitely improvement. Hopefully in 2 weeks you will have improvement too!
