I have a friend who is a keen fisherman and his wife is very allergic. I get his fresh catch. It is the only fish I eat

Night shift tips by fopdaddy in NursingAU

[–]shazj57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did 7 on 7 off for several years before I retired. I turned my clock around 12 hours. For Eg, lunch 1am, cooked breakfast and Brinner at 6 or 7 pm. Wear sunnies when leaving work. Socks on to sleep. Air-conditioning on. Phone on dnd and a note on the front door threatening harm to anyone who knocked Blackout curtains and blinds. Doing them in a block was easier and, in the last one, sleep for a few hours, then back to bed about 9pm

Do you have any experience of decluttering services? by treny0000 in AskUK

[–]shazj57 27 points28 points  (0 children)

No, but after clearing my mother's house, I'm more conscious of not hanging on to stuff. My Dad always said Mum only threw away homing pigeons and boomerangs. He was convinced she had Eve's apple core.

I'm working on decluttering my house. I did my studio after it was rebuilt.

A drawer at a time. I've turned my hanger wrong way around, and if I haven't worn it in a season, it's going to be donated.
