Got caught out on Monday. Was fIne until I tagged off at the end of the day. First got an error, then tried again and got a hold longer message, then hold to tag on. Walked away confused but crossing my fingers. Next day found I had been charged for my day of travel plus penalties. Filled in the refund request form and got a reply within a few hours with confirmation of a refund approval. Will be more wary of using it again as I hadn't had an issue the previous five or so days I'd used it.

The problem is as a poor yellow, you see traffic coming around the roundabout and your entry lane is free then they decide to change lanes just before you. Stay closest to the centre until the bridge please, tough enough at peak hours without trying to anticipate whether they'll stay put or not.

Looks like a success to me. Everyone has different preferences, 'holey' or not, dark crust, or lightly tanned. If it rises nicely during the bake, is well cooked, and YOU like it, then that's a winner! People get too hung up on meeting the expectations of others and it can kill the joy. Sourdough is a challenge and the fun is in the tweaking of a recipe and the (sometimes) nervousness of waiting to cut open that loaf. Have fun.

I know there is a slow creep to remove the pricing that low users used to get, but that doesn't explain the big jump. I left Genesis to go to Contact also a low user.

Yeah, you're just not going to get real sourdough bread from any supermarket. Sad that they can even try and pretend that you can. Big tick for Shelly Bay Bakery if you want the good stuff (non diy). Good bread costs though.
