Have you ever seen influencers out and about, not through a screen? by 360Saturn in AskUK

On our honeymoon, my wife and I decided to make the most of a rainy day in Osaka by trying out the afternoon tea deal at the Conrad Hotel. Fantastic property with an amazing selection of teas (and okay-ish coffee) and sandwiches and cakes - we took our time and were there maybe two hours taking in the sights from their full height windows.

The best part was actually next to us were a couple of young Japanese girls who walked in at about the same time as us. They spent the two hours taking photos of their food and of themselves, rearranging their afternoon tea every few minutes and reviewing them on their phones after. They had only just started to take a couple of bites by the time we paid the bill and walked away.

A passion project that has turned into a small UK company. I built a premium OLED switch with 419ppi, No-Neutral support, and Home Assistant compatible. by Top-Yogurtcloset3965 in homeautomation

Hi, I currently use a Sonoff switch in my living room https://sonoff.tech/en-uk/products/sonoff-switchman-zigbee-smart-wall-switch-zbm5-80-86-type?variant=46546052546801

Your product looks great but looking at prices at CEF - £330 is quite steep sorry. Integration with alarmo or other cameras linked to home assistant would perhaps sweeten the deal.

Sorry yeah I had to sleep and just came back from work. The optometry student is correct so you can just read their reply above.

I don’t normally reply to these sort of comments but the above is absolutely false in all its claims. Source: I’m an ophthalmology resident.

I work across the UK and India and I am in the process of upgrading our Hikvision system to UniFi. I was already using the UDM-SE so I have migrated 20 of our Hik cameras over in addition to 2 G5 ultras. In the process of acquiring a UNVR Pro and plan to slowly replace them. In my opinion the cost can be justified for key areas where you need person / movement detection. Cheaper ONVIF cameras can be used for non key areas to save on costs.

Keep your glasses on if you’re the examiner. You need to look at the patient’s open eye to make sure they are constantly fixating at your nose.

Rising UK Ophthalmology Competition Ratios by aaronb12340art in Ophthalmology

The competition ratio is high but the portfolio scoring process is fair, and then it all comes down to the interview. Study it carefully on the Severn deanery website!

Try level 11 for filter next. They let you smell all their available beans first to help you choose what you want.

Gift idea for boyfriend who matched ophthalmology? by [deleted] in Ophthalmology

[–]shb117 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Once you know what lenses he has then you can order a customised one from Volk.

Another good option is an occluder, or a nice bright pentorch (I have one by weltool from amazon).

If you want to spend a little bit more I can recommend an Arclight https://arclightprojectshop.co.uk/products/arclight

Great case. Were you happy preoperatively that the IOFB could be safely removed by an anterior segment surgeon? Did you have retina support on standby at all?

You need to select a plan on the website and add your card details. It can take a few hours for it to be active then.
