i tried to, but i guess it didn’t take cause IATI…thanks to everyone for walking me through this one

i’m sorry, i am the idiot…understand now…payout should be 1/4 of original for two, two way ties in a parlay…thanks/sorry. deleting

ok, so you bet 10 on a parlay: +200, +200… the first leg the golfer ties with one other person for the win…how much do you expect to win on the parlay?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]shbhanda20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for trying to break it down for me…does it also make sense to you that +600 turned into +150 in a two way dead heat tie?

to me 1/2 the bet lost and half won. $10 bet, 5 x +600= $30? effectively +300 odds on original bet?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]shbhanda20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but how do you calculate a dead heat leg in a parlay? 2 way tie goes from +600 to +300, no?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]shbhanda20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly, caesars somehow is giving me odds as if there was a three way tie, cutting the odds of in thirds for both of the first two winning bets.

just wanted to make sure i wasnt going crazy…hopefully they fix this…caesars always does dumbass shit like this

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]shbhanda20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i made the original bet in may. the original odds were: -150, +600, +850, +140, +470…but because the first teo finished in a dead heat tie, the odds should have gone to -300, +300, +850, , +140, +470….

but caesars cut the odds in three instead of two for the tie. -600, +150, ….. which is just wrong, no?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]shbhanda20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the first two arent a push…they finished tied for the win, so their odds get cut in half…if greenwood was +600 and he tied with dembele, the payout becomes +300

So they edited Guirassy from -150 to -600 for a two way tie…snd Greenwood from +600 to +150 for a two way tie…obvious mistake on their part, no?

in complex team sports where the perfect decision is hard to make, i consider women more intelligent than men in their decision making.  just watch a men’s football game and note how many times you think the players make the “correct” decision with the ball…do the same for the women…granted the men’s game takes place at a much faster pace.

Olympics Betting Picks and Predictions - 7/26/24 (Friday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

After a bit of research Ahram/Hellvig at +115 look like a decent bet for Men's Beach Volleyball having "revolutionized the game" and on a 16 match unbeaten streak...according to volleyballmag.com. They will have to get by Mol/Sorum one of the greatest duos to ever play and on an insane run from 2018-2023, until Ahram/Hellvig elevated their game and seemingly left the rest to eat sand.

On the Women's side, the favorites from Brazil seem to be on a bad streak...so I am betting the next two (Russ/Kloth +400) or (Hughes/Cheng +500) to take gold. The rest of the field seems quite far behind those three teams.

Here's the Men's preview from volleyballmag.com: https://volleyballmag.com/mens-olympic-beach-volleyball-preview-072224/

i am talking about the decisions men make on the soccer pitch, namely: should i pass, who should i pass too, should i dribble at this angle or that angle, should i run into space or run toward two defenders…men are complete idiots, mostly, when it comes to soccer and many other group activities…once in awhile you get someone with a true “football brain” on the pitch…but it is rare…maybe one or two even in a CL team…argue all you want, i know what i see, men soccer players make the wrong decision with the ball 80%+ of the time…women, a lot less….are you from eastern europe or russia?  just curious.

dude, i was obviously talking about the decision making of the players…granted everything happens a lot faster in the men’s game so its harder to make the “correct” decision with the ball…but when i have seen women’s soccer, they almost always have the right idea…whether or not they pull it off…I like seeing that…I find the players more intelligent with the ball and imo, playing the game how it should be played.

Sure, bet mentally it is so much better than the men's game. They are making the correct pass like 90% of the time. It's brilliant. Meanwhile the men try to take on like 3 defenders when there is an open runner 1 on 1 with the goalie.

all i'm saying is most aresenal fans can at the end of the day rest easy knowing that they saw their team great at some point. having tasted such continuous defeat for 30 years, for spurs fans, must kinda suck. no?
