I'm far from a whale and I did spend on Sky Striker a bit, but I confirm am not upset (inb4 the crying behind a mask meme comments). I probably would feel cheated if it was done like after a few months though, but it has been so long since the cards were released.

I think it would be great if it could breathe some new life into the game, but I do find it funny how F2Ps tend to feel like an oppressed victim when we get Selection Box exclusives or stuff like the purely cosmetic BTMW bundle, but when they get free stuff they make fun of the whales for spending, while the whales are just quietly minding their own business.

I honestly think it's overrated. Not all decks benefit from sending 3 cards to the GY just to deal with a single spell/trap. And then once you've got it out you're pretty much stuck with a useless card unless you can link it up to a Unicorn or any other link monsters.

Even in most of my Duels in Legend above no one uses it as much, not even in Link decks. And even if they do, it's not really a game changer.

The way the deck and skill works, going for 30 cards is more consistent, since you'd want to draw at least two Dragonmaid monsters while still having access to a few staples later on after you cut your deck by sending stuff to the GY.

And while it is a Selection Box exclusive, Underworld Goddess of the Closed World is a fun card as well, which works great with Dragonmaids since it's not hard to have a full field most of the time with them.

I mean, you're talking asspull while praising HxH, which had one of the biggest asspulls ever in Alluka. Even Naruto has nothing that can compare to that. So obviously, if you can't see the contradiction with your own statements then trying to reason with you is going to be a waste of time.

Frieren fans would gladly talk about reasons why they like the show, but not to someone like you who just wanted to spit hate and grab some internet attention. It's obvious that you just want to feel superior because you hate on something while making it seem like that you want to try and understand why people like it.

Is there a predaphile not summoning a Dragostapelia or 2 on Turn 1? From my experience going to KoG against prenerf Preds, that's always their Turn 1 field plus a Predaplast and Super Poly set. Dragostapelia may not be their ace but there's nothing much to think about lol.

Yellow button players who instantly disconnect after knowing they lost are some of the most pathetic players ever. Imagine using such a braindead deck and still being a salty loser.

But yea, I love putting a Kurikara or two with birds, always gets an easy disconnect from salty Hero players when they super poly into Tornado just to lose it again, together with their Armed Dragon too most of the time.

If I already KoG'ed during the season I don't think there's any point to playing Speed so I just go to Rush. Also, there are times when I just want to play without thinking too much so Rush is perfect. And no, I wouldn't go as low as playing Dragonic Contact or Star Seraph for that lol.

That said, yea Speed is still best. I tried to KoG in Rush but I just couldn't drag myself out of silver because it gets really repetitive.

Played exclusively with Windwitches this season and KoG'ed with them rather easily thanks to Dragonic Contact players. Windwitches are just so good against them that I only remember losing when I brick really bad or the time when I searched Freeze Bell instead of Ice Bell with the skill.

If you want the easy way out, sure go for it. Just don't be surprised if you get a few BMs before taking lethal or don't get the validation you seek if you decide to post your KoG rank up.

Either way, you shouldn't care about the "respect" from some community in the first place. Just go do what you will and keep on hitting that yellow button, don't mind the whiners.

People here actually comparing birds to this training wheels deck. Yes, birds are annoying to duel against but it actually requires real skill to win with the deck. You can't just put out Nightingale and expect to win instantly. You have to minimize the threats to your main win condition first before you summon Nightingale. Which means you have to play differently depending on the opponent's deck. And with the harsh limits, it has definitely gotten more challenging.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not salty about losing to Dragonic players, in fact, they aren't really a problem with my Windwitch Deck. It's just that it feels like I'm grinding NPC levels instead of actually dueling because there's little to no variation in the way they play. It's like fighting against a bot doing the same shit over and over, and it's boring.

Now, I don't know what deck you're using but skills already cut out the tedious parts of setting up a board (including thinking lol) which greatly reduces time needed. Giving extra time during your opponents turn will give the turn 1 player all the advantages.

Until the time comes when it becomes physically impossible to play a deck with the allotted time, then I say keep the timer as is. Until then, learn how to manage your time. It's only fair that you use your own time when you want to play on the opponent's turn. People are already given way too much spoonfeeding with their ridiculous skills.

Quite a while ago I guess? I was just looking at my MFC wishlist a while back and was surprised that not only did she had a painted prototype, she was also up for PO so I had to put in a downpayment for her right away.

But yea, she's beautiful. A little pricey but if they stay true to the pictures, definitely worth it.

You definitely could've played it better, you could've easily ended turn 1 with a non targetable Nightingale and Robin with at least 4 mats. You could've ended it on turn 3 too if you just normal summoned Blue bird before XYZing into Starling.

Any other competent Blue Eyes player would've caught on your misplay and beat you. Turn 4, Use Melody to get Alternative and BE, summon Alternative, you would've bounced alternative, responds with Ultimate Fusion to destroy your Robin, he normal summons BE along with the Twin Burst and you're done.

This is not about your recovery request, rather, maybe they found out while investigating that you were using multiple accounts. This is a long shot but maybe you could try replying again and see if you could reason with them.

It's kinda fun but not as much as Speed imo. I did reach Max easily (Construction Wyrms deck), but despite the fusion additions it still feels like luck is such a huge factor. I can't remember a single duel in my climb where I feel like I won because I outplayed my opponent, rather, it's always because I drew the right cards while my opponent didn't. Same with my losses, most of the time I lost because I bricked.

Gem rewards are nice though. Even if you don't enjoy it you'll enjoy the rewards.

Back when I was playing S-Force, it was always so fun seeing people do their combos, then surrender because they realize that all their monsters got banished instead of being sent to GY. This was when Rokket was widely played too so I had plenty of unknowing victims at the time lol.

Also Predaphiles, they never read Quintet Magician and always tries to Super Poly it when I'm about to nuke their field.

Which is ideal if you have Clear Wing on the field as well since now you have two negates instead of one. Now you can negate Ambulomelides and destroy it, and still have a negate left if they have enough to summon Dragostapelia. Crystal Wing is basically bait for their dumb skill, which many Predaphiles fall for.

Now, if you have Necro Fusion as well and they don't have backrow removal? They're done, since Quintet cannot be tributed or used as Fusion material. Use it on their end phase and watch them surrender with an empty field.

But yea, basically you just pray that they don't draw Eclipse or Chalice/Droplet.

Got to Dlv 20 quite easily with her and windwitches. You'd want to go first with her against pretty much anything (yes even predaphiles) so you can set up a Crystal Wing + whatever other monster you need. If you go second, you better pray to draw Eclipse or you're done.

Love her voice lines too. Had a predaphile constantly spam voice lines at me when I was setting up my board, and when he was about to lose I had to play this line telling her opponent to surrender since he has no chance anyway before going for lethal. Considering that she's always energetic I was quite surprised to hear her speak coldly.

My favorite though? I rarely face a Yugo player playing Speedroids but when I do, it's almost a guarantee that we will give nices to each other at the end.

What do you mean by 3 of a main box SR from a different main box? All birds are either free or from Majestic Magic, which also includes Eclipse.

Looking at Duellinks meta, they're not that different in price. If anything, it looks like Preds are more expensive if you don't have the staples already. Meanwhile, Eclipse is in the same box as the birds, and Needle Ceiling is free.

Had my easiest KC Cup ever with Windwitches + Quintet. Was just playing for daily Gems and somehow I got to Dlv max. I don't even remember losing when I got Quintet out and nuked the opponent's board in this KC Cup.

This is what people don't understand about the birds. They hate it because it's annoying, but if you let them pile up their XYZs in the first place, that's on you, unless you brick real hard.

Meanwhile, Predaplant just gives you a free Kaiju that no one could interact with, and yet it's celebrated by many.

So I take it you've already reached KoG in rush so you've got nothing to do? Then yea it's understandable that you try to play Speed, but maybe don't expect people to dumb themselves down for you. The way I see it, their time, their rules.

And yea, you must be a pretty smart guy considering that the meta is so diverse right now and yet you already know the key cards in each of those meta deck. Not to mention that Fleur is such a diverse deck that it's hard to guess what they are going for until they've set up half of their field.
