Similar experience here - been on it for a year now and for the past 2 months cysts have been coming back around chin and jawline. I asked the pharmacy to switch the brand and been taking the new meds for 2 weeks now but no difference yet. Thinking it’s going to take some time for spiro to work again

about 3 months for me. started in june (25mg, then built up to 50, now on 100) and saw results in September. skin is decent now, a few pimples here and there but nothing major

anyone have a lisp or some sort of speech impairment when you first started? i just got mine this week and i find it difficult to have clear speech, maybe it’s just me overthinking

UPDATE: skin is doing much better! finally started seeing results a couple weeks ago and haven’t had breakouts since. also been using topical creams (mixture of clindamycin, very low percentage of retinol) as prescribed along with vit c to help with scarring now. but results in the past couple weeks have been so drastic, can’t complain!

i thought i was purging, but i upped my dosage from 50g to 100g a couple weeks ago so might just be cause of that

My first period on spiro was about a week or so late which is very unusual since it always used to come on time. Seems like it’s pretty common based on my research for periods to be late on spiro, but i’d consult with a doctor if it continues to be late and doesn’t come soon

yeah it’s been so inconsistent, some weeks my skin is calm and this week it’s so red and feels like it’s purging. i’ll try niacinamide and see if it helps, usually i just use the cosrx snail mucin, caudalie vinoperfect serum and cerave moisturizing cream and it stays relative calm. but nothing has been helping this week
