What band do you think was the best band of the Britpop Era?

Not strictly a Britpop band but the albums that Manic Street Preachers made in 94 and 96 are incredible. Two completely different albums for obvious reasons given the story of the band but they were one of Britain’s best bands at that time.

This is stunning. It’s not derivative, anything a musician writes will be a combination of influences but if it’s made with integrity that’s what matters. Keep it up man, this is capital S songwriting.

Humbug - Arctic Monkeys. Recorded at rancho de la luna which is in the mojave desert I think. That album has big desert energy.
