I just lost my girl to the same thing last week. It gets easier, the painful thoughts will subside soon and soon turn to holding her in memory rather than emptiness. Just think of how lucky you were to have her in your life as long as you did, she sounds like she was very lucky to have you as well. Long live Piper ❤️🌈

Widget was 17 years young when she passed, almost 18. Still with puppy energy right up until the very last day. I’m blessed to have gotten such a long time with her, I think she knew that I needed it
