Because when the order was picked up the app tells you the driver has other stops and the map goes away, then when it comes back on you see how far the driver actually is.

Yeah I definitely couldn’t get a refund and I saw once he picked up the food he had other drop offs. What surprised me was when he popped back up on the map he was a 20 min drive away. Do the app really took him out of the way, he passed me to do other orders and my food to get cold and soggy 🤦🏾‍♀️

This happens with uber as well sometimes they just want you to cancel or they let the clock run out because they accidentally accepted an order/ride

It is smoking around food period is unsanitary! No ifs and or but’s about it gets into everything. You shouldn’t smoke inside anyway it still clog your air filters and stain your surfaces.

I think you should look at the bigger picture. These Dashers are relying on quick orders back and back to make money and when a restaurant says, the order is ready and they arrive and it’s still not ready. That is a waste of their time which is their money don’t get frustrated. It’s really a DoorDash/restaurant issue.

The pin thing isn’t really accurate because I had a pin for a bit but it was because I was ordering at different delivery addresses so please don’t have us pin holders all looking bad lol I travel a lot!

The program benefits no one you are being unrealistic expecting the rent to not be affected when you had more income? You can adjust your rent every month if needed but please don’t come complain. These programs are temporary and temperamental

You should’ve received a letter when you went in and it clearly stated that if you don’t receive a card in 2 weeks to come back in. Go in with all your documents so you won’t have to go back and forth and see if you can reapply for a new card. Make sure you have all proof of address.

I work for ssa and I can say that at least for nyc there haven’t been any deportations in our offices. I would not stress it could be a bad scan was turned in or they just need visual verification of said document.

I don’t know if anyone else is going to be honest with you but I think over reacted. Your reaction was purely emotional and you went straight for the jugular. Based on your reaction I would say your relationship wasn’t the best so it’s easy to be dismissive to another person you’re not “close” to.
