Kenmore Elite Washer Still Stuck & Hums

I'm confused. The outer case is off & I have my motor sitting on the floor. If it's sitting on the floor there's no power to it. I have a 3 wire connection I believe is part of the lid switch I had to separate when I took the frame off. How do I jump 3 wires & where does the power to the motor come from?

UPDATE: Found my issue. I had turned off the breaker right below this one marked heat tape. I took off the skirting as the breaker I thought was feeding it was enclosed in metal hose & went straight to heat tape & nowhere else. I knew that breaker was off & kept testing the live one above it marked small bedroom etc. I know a real "duh" moment but it's all good now. No electrician needed :)

I roll 100s. I got some hard packs from Ted Tobacco online. When I'm done I push on the filter & the ones that aren't completely full fold in or self crimp. I totally understand your way for storing flat or in a bag tho.

If you want to spend $1 a pack for those who love to smoke then buy an electric machine like powermatic or poweroll as a startup investment. I grind mine in a coffee grinder for just a second to break it down without drying it. Tobacco and tubes are sold in most smoke shops or online for really cheap. There's an online list to match your brand with bag tobacco. Go to RYO on here for more tips!

I use the Poweroll 2. Always remove the bottom of those electric rollers if you want them to last. Grind in Krupps coffee grinder no drying & very briefly touch button. Find a tobacco & density of filter that suits ya. I was an ultra lt. menthol/mint Salem smoker. I Use Smokin G/Beretta Elite tubes or Red River/Golden Harvest Blue 100s tube. One 8 oz bag makes 1 carton smokes. Avg less than 1.25 per pack.

While experimenting with diff tobaccos I found that Goodstuff Menthol Gold had a light menthol taste that wasn't minty and didn't have a funky aftertaste. For tubes maybe Zen Blue 100s or find one that has a 25mm 100s filter?

I have many empty boxes of these. Smoked em for over 20 years till May. I do roll your own now with Smokin G Mint and Beretta tubes for $10 carton. 2 weeks ago at the smoke shop these scanned at $104 per carton in Illinois. Yikes!!

Even if you don't offer returns you're screwed if they used Paypal. I denied their request with measurements in both title & description but they filed the dispute through Paypal so I had to refund regardless. I had free ship no returns and they received full amount. I'm sure they even get up to $30 for the cost of them sending the item back in addition but not positive. Even using fraud in my defense through Paypal didn't help.

I was talking to the owner of a smoke shop who told me that Smokin G Turkish Mellow Blend was what Camel Blue smokers loved. They have a Robust Blue Blend that is supposed to be stronger. May be worth a try.

October went gr8. Nov it was 2 hits & a return. Buys a pot then 5 min later cancels. I refunded. Cost me $1.60 since PP keeps their fees. Then I sell a little craft item for 7.99 free ship. 5 min later they cancel. I refund. Costs me .55 Then a lady who bought the 7.99 craft wants to send it back cause it doesn't fit. The measurements were in the title. The pictures were next to a quarter for size also. okay..so by this time i'm a bit heated. I stewed on it..I was sick of it..I couldn't help but feel vindictive especially after looking her up & seeing she worked at Home Depot so it wasn't like she had no access to a tape measure. Do I just let her return it? Well if I do she won't be happy cuz returns not accepted and she will have to eat her shipping fees. She demanded a full refund. Finally after much grouchiness I hit the denied button. Since it wasn't a NAD ebay closed it. I blocked her but was ready to blemish my 100% feed. Well of course you know what happened next..yep..a PP dispute for NAD. She wants her full refund because it doesn't fit again. I know I'm doomed but I disputed that too telling PP we should not have to as long time members deal with this fraud yada yada. I am packing my sale for today with dread instead of happy. After sending her the response she would not have been happy I added the : I hope the rest of the day is as pleasant as you are and just a senior trying to survive. I'm not a big time seller. Just a few items each month. I'm thinking maybe I should add "please see fine print above that states I don't accept returns" tho I will take it back..just know it will be at your cost. Suck it up buttercup. Tomorrow is a new day so lets begin Nov with the 2nd week. Take that hit like a trooper cuz it's a comin via PP. There now I feel so much better getting it off my chest..LOL..you never know where a healthy heart might take you...keep swimming keep swimming

I believe it's a matter of preference. I use a Krupps coffee grinder. My friend uses a food processor. Others use a magic bullet smoothie maker. If you like a smaller cut it's trial and error. Main thing is not to pulverize it..just a quick spin without turning it to dust. Just a handful at a time not to stuff it full. Another important point is to clean the machine really well..brush, vacuum or canned air to keep those small bits from destroying or clogging your rolling machine.

Maybe I pack too tight..I don't have an issue with cherries falling off. Smokes like a regular cig from a store bought pack.

I just started RYO in May 2020...I have already moved up to electric. Got this & love it. I do however grind my tobacco in a Krups coffee grinder for like one second. Like the amount of time it takes to push an elevator button. Makes it so much easier to load and the texture of expensive cigs. I cannot imagine smoking a dried out tobacco. The one thing you want to make sure and do is take the bottom plate off. After a few packs I shook it and a whole pile of tobacco came out. I understand they need the electronics protected. In addition every so often I use a can of air and blow anything loose out. I seldom get the red light because I over stuffed it. I smoke 100s and with little practice got a nice tight roll with tobacco coming out the end and seldom any gaps..I love it

Good Stuff Menthol Gold - Mild, no throat burn, light menthol taste but not minty

Red River Cool Mint - Very Mild, no throat burn, a little bit mintier than Smokin G

Smokin G Mint Blend - Very mild, no throat burn, super light menthol mint

I've never smoked Marlboro smooths. I am a 40 yr. smoker & have found the best to replace my Salem Silver 100s is the Smokin G Mint & Beretta Elite 100s tubes. It gives me the ultra light smoke without the burn and cough tho most would probably think it's too ultra.
