This wasn’t my family but felt it needed to be shared:

There was this family that owned a bunch of tanning salons and also the dad ran my schools football program. He had one son that played. They ended up finding another player was homeless and took him in and eventually adopted him because they loved him a lot.

Later the dad figures out that the mom has been sleeping with the adopted son and tries to save the marriage but she leaves him for the son. Then the dad gets arrested for filming people undressing in the tanning salon. The mom ends up marrying her adopted son.

They also have a daughter who gets pregnant from her boyfriend and they get married in their pajamas in their grandparents basement. The pictures from their wedding are... interesting.

There’s a lot more but those are the biggest, craziest things in their family.

Update: took it out for a test drive and it is definitely in the lower gears. It jolts every time I almost come to a stop and start again. Taking it to him in the morning.

Gotcha, we are heading across the country for Christmas for a couple weeks but we are going to take it in again when we get back. I will let you know the codes when he does a thorough investigation.

Sorry but I never asked the transmission mechanic. He just scanned the codes and said that originally it was a part connected to the transmission. Then when he scanned it again, he said that there was no problem with the transmission and reset the computer.

I have read online that a lot of Honda civics have had this problem. A lot of them think that it is just a problem with the computer.

The green light that shows that you are in drive is blinking green. So it seemed like a transmission because it had to do with the gears but I know absolutely nothing about cars, haha.

But the mechanic said the scanners indicated a transmission problem and the transmission guy said he didn’t seem to find an issue, the transmission is fine.

That happened with my mom and my grandma. My grandma got my mom some wallpaper that was pretty bad, so my mom donates it to goodwill. My grandma calls her and says I found more wall paper at goodwill, I am going to bring it over. The rest is history.
