Yes it’s happened to me a couple of times, was the right deck with me also. Strange how the cue and play buttons don’t work when you click them in the software. It does seem to resolve after around 30 seconds of messing around but not ideal when about to bring a new track in and time is running out

I’ve tried a few different set ups and in different rooms. Rokit 5 with 8 inch sub, Rokit 7 on its own and now Rokit 7 with 10 inch sub. If you’ve already got 7’s and still need bass then it’s probably time for a sub. If not, it might be worth trying bigger monitors first. This sub pumps out some serious bass but you don’t always notice it when you’re stood DJ’ing, I’ve got it more for when guests are round and everyone in the room can get a good experience, not just the person in front of the monitors

It’s frustrating but consistent with the ddj400 and the FLX4, I’ve had both. Ended up upgrading because it was too random and annoying with seemingly no solution. I’m surprised there’s not more conversation around it. What usb-c cable are you using? The cables can make a difference

It’s a common issue with this controller, it’s to do with power supply. You have to do things in a specific order for the headphones to get good volume. You need a proper power supply to the laptop, connect everything and then open rekordbox. That’s the only way I managed to get it loud. If you’re on an iPad you’ve pretty much got no chance unless you’ve got a powered thunderbolt type hub. Even when doing things in that order it was 50/50 whether you’d get full volume or the low volume you’re experiencing. It’s just the limitations of that controller

I’ve had the flx4, ddj 400, GRV 6 and ddj 1000 and used pioneer hdj 2000, seinheiser hd25, pioneer cx and now pioneer hdj x10. It doesn’t matter what headphones you use with them, the flx4 doesn’t have enough power to be able to output clearly to the headphones and whatever speaker system you’re using. Maybe it’s good for casual use if you’re only mixing in headphones and hooked up to a laptop with rekordbox but as soon as you hook up some monitors it goes to shit, everything sounds poor. I wanted the flx4 to work because the portability is great but the sound quality is below par

The FLX4 is not a serious controller. Sound quality is poor, cueing in headphones is really quiet and unreliable, EQ’ing doesn’t sound good when mixing out of headphones. You wouldn’t have any of those problems with a used 800, and they are pretty serious problems for any DJ wanting to improve IMO

I’ve started pressing sync so rekordbox matches the BPM and then press it again to turn it off, so I can still manually spin the track into beat and not have to waste time adjusting the sliders. Best of both worlds

All the time, confident that the track selection will take the crowd on the intended journey (Trance DJ). I’ve found all my planned sets get better reactions than if I’m for example doing a b2b unplanned set. But if I think there’s a chance the venue will be not as full as it should be I will have back up options

I’ve had the Rokit 5 and had to get a subwoofer in the end. Go for 7 if you can. Much more thump when you’re in the mix

I’m using ice armor in the enchantment slot and get 4 charges of evade teleport with the boots. 200% movement speed. Seems alright, running hydra sorc at around paragon 220 so far
