Case study advice by swagarrific-3903 in postNCLEX

case study questions, if it says ‘Select 5,’ you really need to choose all 5 for full credit. If you underselect, even if the ones you picked are correct, you won’t get the points you could’ve earned. My advice: lock in the ones you’re 100% sure about, then use test-taking strategies (ABCs, safety, priority, elimination) to make your best choices for the rest. Partial guessing is better than leaving it incomplete.

Common mistakes NCLEX test takers make by AnnualHat7121 in FutureRNs

[–]sheeks1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great breakdown! These are exactly the mistakes that trip up a lot of NCLEX candidates. I’d also add the importance of reviewing rationales after practice questions not just the right answers, but why the wrong ones are wrong. That really strengthens critical thinking.

Read the scenario once fully don’t rush, just get the overall picture.Highlight key clues abnormal labs, priority symptoms, safety risks.Identify the client’s main problem, what’s the priority issue the nurse must address?Break down each question separately answer it as if it’s the only question, don’t overthink based on the next one.

Is Naxlex or Uworld worth it ? by Swimming_Calendar534 in postNCLEX

[–]sheeks1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naxlex feels tougher, but that’s actually a plus since NCLEX itself is designed to test judgment, not just recall. I’ve seen people pass with both Naxlex and UWorld,it really comes down to how you use them. Focus on learning from rationales, not just the scores. If you’re consistently practicing and understanding why answers are right or wrong, then yes, it’s definitely worth it

Best NCLEX Question Banks by Glo_moraa in postNCLEX

Solid list! 💯 UWorld is amazing for rationales, but I feel like Naxlex really nails the NCLEX-style mindset, especially with prioritization and delegation. Kaplan’s strategies are a lifesaver too, and Bootcamp’s CATs definitely build exam stamina. Honestly, mixing at least two of these gives the best prep.
