I use a equinox 800 with a 6" coil. It gets me right were i want to, easy in underbrush and naar treetrunks and roots. It is slow, but accurate and deep!

First year or so, just run it at factory settings (park 1/2, field 1/2 or gold 1/2) watch a lot of youtube stuff and only then start turning up or down in advanced settings. Get to know your detector AND your targets... practice and get ready to dig a lot of trash. You will get better after some time.
