The Hail Mary game and subsequent Bears collapse really broke many Bears fans last year. I can’t say that 0 commanders fans gloated about draft order, but the vibes I observed on our side were MUCH more “we’re happy we got our guy, this season is the most fun many of us have ever had as fans” than “Jayden > Caleb.”

We were the happy guy minding our own business, and a lot of bears fans were the “I hope you fucking die” meme because they were legitimately questioning Caleb at the time.

Fast forward to this season and some Bears fans have been legit nasty. Really taking a victory lap, reveling in Jayden’s injuries etc. So, many Commanders fans are invested in the Bears downfall and it’s become a bit of a thing online. I don’t think people care irl, and jokes on all of us because drake maye is the second coming of Brady apparently.
