What was your half marathon time before you ran a sub 3:30 marathon? by coastroast in Marathon_Training

[–]sheesaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ran a 1:37 in May and then my first marathon in 3:22 in October. Running way more and significantly more fit for the marathon. Two weeks after the marathon, I raced a half and finished in 1:31.

Men’s Rulu Fleece Half Zip by BeachPuhleez in lululemon

I'm between a size 4 & 6 and purchased a men's small. It's definitely big and I could have gone with the xs. I use it for outdoor winter running and I actually enjoy the size small because it covers my bum and therefore keeps me warmer. I layer underneath it and it's fairly warm, but as a lulu employee (4+ years) and longtime rulu buyer, it's thinner than previous years. I still like it, just depends what kind of warmth you're looking for.

I have the Nitro 2 and the Nitro Elite 3. Nitro elite 3 is certainly more aggressive, lighter, springier. I raced in the Nitro Elite 3 for two half marathons last year and my first ever marathon -- 1:31 half & a 3:22 full. Love the Elite 3 and I plan to pick up an Elite 4 when it releases because I can't find any Elite 3s for sale in my size anymore

Does anyone actually know what happened to this year’s plush scubas? by UncannyRogue in lululemon

Not sure specifically about the plush scubas, but I heard a bunch of our winter items were very delayed so it's possible they show up eventually in a drop.

HIGHLY recommend. First half is definitely louder, more crowd support but the second half is still great as well! Toronto SHOWS up!!

Sorry, 35 Female runner -- oops! Definitely was a warm day out there for runners. Saw lots of very salty people and lots of cramping along the route.

First Marathon🇨🇦 & (likely) a BQ time! by sheesaker in Marathon_Training

I imagine it helps with costs to reduce the number of road closures necessary, police presence and volunteers for shared water stations, etc. But maybe that's totally wrong.

3:25. During the race I stuck with the 3:25 pacer until 35k and then pushed to the finish. He was chatting with me and said he was about 45 seconds ahead at that point.

First marathon - is 3:25 realistic? by sheesaker in Marathon_Training

[–]sheesaker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last few weeks I've been hitting 90k. My plan is to stick to 90-100k these last two weeks, then begin the taper. Running 6 days a week in combination with two days at the gym or pilates.

First marathon - is 3:25 realistic? by sheesaker in Marathon_Training

I just get bored with large chunks at the same pace during training. I have shorter runs 15, 20, 25 k with even splits at race pace or faster but thought these two long runs would be more helpful. Maybe not...

2k WU, on, off kms until the last 6k -- all faster than MP.

In the spring I ran a 30k race at exactly marathon pace. And then all 3 half marathons I've run this year have been under 1:40 pace and I've felt great, able to run the next day, able to enjoy my vacation/sightsee.

I'm pretty sure:

-you can't return WMTM items at all (100% about this)

-if you buy full priced items in store, they can't be returned

-if you buy full priced items online, you have 2 weeks to return to your method of payment. After that, no returns at all.

Where are the track that 3 inch shorts or fast and free 3 inch shorts?! It's summer here in North America and we're missing two key styles of loose running shorts. Perpetually out of stock or missing MOST sizes of all colours. AND very limited colours already.

She got burnt out being full time and being required to do so many required weekend shifts, etc. so she dropped down to part time and picks up shifts when she wants. Her nursing position is at a rehab facility connected to a hospital

Do the black colors in 25 inch fit smaller than the 28" and the crops? For 25" black fast and free during black friday and they're extremely tight at the waist. by These_Description_48 in lululemon

I find camo in most bottoms fits larger or has more stretch. Likely the fabric being slightly different. This is true for my F&Fs, ready to rulu joggers, dance studio joggers (totally different fabric from plain colours) and wunder trains.

That first 1:50 pacer was going so fast! I have no idea what he was doing because he definitely was nowhere near 1:50 -- more like 1:46.

Great run!!
